our story
Organic Hair opened in June of 2007 in a small studio salon in Lewiston. Salon owner and stylist, Deanna, made the decision while in Cosmetology school that once she was able to have her own salon, she would do it different. Using the most innovative color products on the market and helping women get their hair done without toxic chemicals and the harsh side effects. Organic Hair began with one mission, to allow women to permanently color and/or lighten their hair without the use of ammonia and other toxic chemicals. Its been 16 years since Organic Hair opened and has now moved to Clarence Center. Organic Hair is in its first expansion, with plans to open a second location in the Southtowns. The mission is to continue to use the top two ammonia free color lines, OWAY and O & M, to permanently color grey and give beautiful bright blondes all while maintaining the integrity of your hair. O&M are the original pioneers of clean color technology and is ammonia, PPD, and resorcinol free haircare. Soft, shiny, healthy hair is achievable when you use a product that does not interfere with the structural integrity of your hair.
